Youth power station in Ismailia

The youth station in Ismailia is one of the giant developmental edifices for the production of electricity, the production capacity of which has been raised from 1000 megawatts to 1500 megawatts using the latest means of technology to produce clean and environmentally friendly electrical energy without using any form of fuel and benefiting from the exhaust generated from the gas unit using steam and energy recovery from Steam, by converting it into a combined cycle station and adding the production of 500 megawatts of electric power to the station, which has a total investment cost of $580 million funded through European grants and loans. It is expected that the entire project will be completed during that period. t is noteworthy that the station has been operating in the simple cycle system since 1982 through 3 gas units, which were reinforced in 2011 by establishing only 8 units and producing 1000 megawatts. After development and the introduction of combined cycle technology systems that operate without the use of fuel, the production capacity was increased to 1500 megawatts through The use of the air-cooled condenser system, which was implemented for the first time in Egypt and the Middle East region. The scope of work of PetroMisr was to provide qualified and trained workers to carry out the required welding and filing works according to the required time and specifications.
